The album won't get longevity unless she gets a big radio hit. It seems like Jennie doesn't care about radio. The album will probably debut in the Usa top 20, and be off the charts in 3 weeks. Things could change if she get a radio hit. Extral would have been a good choice for a radio hit but it has not got sent to radio.

the cutover is around 1.2-1.3m rn, Lisa was really close, I'm honestly surprised she missed a few more entrances by such a small margin… next week it will be a bit harder but I believe she may have 7 entries (Zen, Like Jennie, ExtraL, Mantra, Love Hangover, Dua and Gambino&Kali collabs)

I think 20/25m would be pretty good for her.

It's interesting how no one talks about but they have lost a large portion of their SEA fans outside of Thailand none are making splash in Philippines or Indonesia they either don't chart or it's at the bottom.

1. the music they are currently making doesn't really cater to those markets

2. then they have local releases so the streams are split and not that visible on the charts (the ones from Asia) 

3. there are so many new releases lately, it's affecting all of them and I'm a bit worried it might affect Jennie the most, since she's the last one and there is already so much new music to listen to 

Is Like Jennie going to be the last single and get some performances? Idk what kind of rollout she would go with this week but I imagine we'll at least get a video for that

the song is like 2 mins long, so they probably have like 10-15 secs verses or some cute lil adlibs and thats it

It's for sure an interesting point. They are an idol band after all, with original fans being young adults / teenagers. Once they grow up they might change to more mature artists. Or they move to newer, flashier bands instead (aespa, new jeans etc)

 

They are very smart to have another Blackpink group project this fall-winter. One last hurrah as a group (like Destiny's Child - Destiny Fulfilled era)

I think that could just mean their fans are more OT4 in those regions. I'm not sure if those regions have had overall growth also so more local music getting listened to or maybe they just didnt have loyal fans there? Guess we shall see with BP comeback.

I think they are quite successful Reboot did sell I think 2m albums, but YG has mismanaged them quite hard

tbh i think the date for bps comeback has been set for a while now cause rumors have been floating for a long time. so i do think their solos really were all rushed cause they all wanted to do it before the comeback
