The hostile posts in here already.    But yeah, I definitely lean more gay, but I've had more bi tendencies as I've gotten older. It's been interesting to see my sexuality evolve with time.

  • I'm closeted bi, irl I'm basically a straight man, a few know what they know, but I've mostly done girls more than men   I personally haven't fully come out because I don't wanna ruin my opp

    Then you're bisexual

Honestly tho I feel some of these struggles in this thread. But I think over time I don't feel the need or desire to date women even despite having a sexual attraction for them. I just see myself dating men, and currently doing so right now, it used to be reversed for some time. I just play up my effeminate energy around women so they are comfortable and know I'm not on the table.

Please let this incel mentality go

Is not incel mentality, straight relationships have become really difficult to navigate, the divorce rate is through the roof, and more and more people are avoiding marriage

I personally have great relationship with women, but in terms of dating these days I personally have felt like I have to put out too much effort and I quit often because most of the time is not worth it

I have even seen posts in this forum saying the same thing

Idk if you are a girl or a guy, but it's just is what it is

Maybe I just don't want to carry the whole weight of the relationship.

I don't think he said anything wrong in the context of his full statement.  Women are in general more difficult to date and with good reason. They have to be defensive from creeps and psychos, have a different mentality on things than men and have to tackle more physical attributes to get noticed that can backfire if the dude becomes too obsessive. That's why they always need to be careful and on guard when dating.

Guys for a decent part are more open to meet in person and feel comfortable and have the same mentality for sex or dating. Of course hookup culture is "worse" with gays if you're looking for a relationship but you will find one with a guy eventually. Girls is a challenge ( which with my last two gfs i enjoyed because it reminded me what straight societal dating is like).

then you're just not meeting the right people

it's not that "dating women" is a nightmare

I didn't know you were bi too

Yup! I was dating my boss’ daughter for a bit before I got with my boyfriend. Some people get weird about it but I don’t really care anymore lol. I’m happy. I used to obsess a lot about what people thought and people being “oh I couldn’t be with a guy who dated other guys”. Once I let that shit go I felt so free.

So....has anyone felt some type of way being groped by either sex?

Men has been more aggressive with it....but I've had women too especially ones who I've met at a gay bar. I know some guys like it but that type of harassment isn't cool and just cuz im bi doesn't give you access to my junk immediately.

Which leads to another point....why do people think we're gonna constantly sleep around or leave our current partner for the opposite sex cuz we're bi? Do people don't think we have self control?

literally like… I've actually had more official girlfriends than boyfriends but in the past few years? barely anything. i've hooked up with more guys than girls in my entire life but idk. I don't know what's such a turn off about me but we carry on I guess  I'm not gonna suddenly stop being effeminate ever so I guess if girls don't like that it's annoying and frustrating but eh

Keep being you king, you might not be everyone's cup of tea but those who resonate with you will gravitate towards your kind of energy. Quality over quantity

I'm not bi but I've been groped my a woman in public transport full of people. It was one of the most uncomfortable and embarrassing experiences.

I have the opposite problem, I feel as if I come across to women as not straight so they either assume I'm gay and automatically shut any romantic possibilities down or they're not attracted to/turned off by that. Subconsciously I also suppose that's stopped me from romantically pursuing women because of the fear of rejection

I've started putting a bit more effort into dating (guys) recently and I've received comments from more than one person that I give off straight guy energy, as someone who grew up with the typical gay kid experience this is a total mindfuck to me and has me questioning things :deadbanana4:

I can totally relate. And on top of that, I've had gay guys throw shade at me for coming off as too straight.

Hello everyone I'm also closeted bi. I date openly women. But I've also hooked up with men. I've tried dating men several times but both times things didn't end well. Both of the guys I tried too be with didn't enjoy the idea of me hooking up with women. The women I've dated I be never revealed I slept with men. Mostly because in my experience and people I've known in real for end up losing there chances of dating women the moment they find out you sleep with men. A lot of women feel like they can't compete with gay men or other bisexual men. So they decide not too be with bisexual guys. It's sad I can't be fully open but it's ok. My bisexuality is only part of my identity and not the whole thing about me.  For now I'm no longer seeking to date men as my experience with guys haven't been the best outside of hooking up. My experience with women have been far better and I enjoyed the company of women a lot. But I have to admit hooking up with men is way easier than women especially if you just want a quick Hook up when your in the mood.

Thanks! You got most of what I meant

I also have similar feelings about the last part, when I date girls I feel like a scored something because it's more difficult to achieve, and also everything else is easier because you are basically an heterosexual couple

With men you always have to think what would happen if you actually get into a relationship, the consequences and what will have to change basically for coming out

I don't care about what other people think in general but you would be lying to yourself if you don't admit your life would change and won't be the same

So each side has its pros and cons

Too gay to be straight, too straight to be gay, I love it here

Hi all! I read something in 2024 that basically changed my perspective with being bi and basically feeling like I need to 'come out' to everyone. It was that I don't owe that to anyone. It is a privilege to know me as I am, and if people don't give me that vibe that they're accepting that they can feel how they wish to about me. I've also found that bi women are a lot more accepted than bi men. But anyway. We're here and we're valid!

I went on a trip this year and two girls were bi, found out I was bi, and we had a three way. So if anything I've found it actually INCREASES my chances with women nowadays when I thought for YEARS if they knew I liked the cawk too then it'd be a deal breaker. Who knew :rip:

The thing I struggle with is when people I know are causally biphobic, not knowing I'm bi :rip: but anyway.
