so I'm back on anti-psychotics and while I still believe Cowboy Carter is the album of the year, I'm not so sure queen bey is the queen of pop. bey is definitely the queen of talent though.

 

this got me thinking about MDNA, an underappreciated album by  mudonna, the true queen of pop.

 

d!ckmatized then divorced by freshly circumized pri!ck guy richie, madge came on this record mad as h3ll.

 

i can really relate to the words cause my twink slam piece left me and now i'm broke and depressed cause i deposited my vital seed in his fun tunnel a few too many times

 

anyway keep streaming MDNA. it's definitely much better album than Born This Way, Femme Fatale, Unapologetic, 21, Teenage Dream, Prism, Artpop, Loud, and many others. It's on par with Born to Die i'd say but not as good as 4 or Beyonce.

MDNA was my first "new" album as a young fan so it will always be up there for me. The way the banjo/guitar whatever at the beginning transitions into that synth beat on this song 

It's arguably the best track on MDNA. Should've been a single. My only issue with the song is that it seems too short and the chorus should've been implemented again 

 

 

 

Loved it live and stripped down

Both "Love Spent" and "Falling Free" are highlights of the "MDNA" era - an era that gets so cruelly castigated and overlooked.

Ugly clunker of a song, with SMALL moments of melodic goodness. Madonna can always craft a hook but shouldn't be anywhere near that pen.

One of the very few moments of brilliance that shitty album offered, along with I'm Addicted.

I can't get over the fact she released an album this bad during the dance/electro boom, a genre she's a master at. And having the Superbowl as a promo spot on top of it all going to waste like that? She fumbled so bad, this could've easily been an era on par with Confessions success-wise or at the very least, give her one more hit single a la 4 Minutes. 

MDNA truly had some awful production on it. The live versions, including Love Spent >>>>>>>>>>>

Orbit salvaged this album and produced its best tracks. If you think it's bad now, I promise it would've been far worse without him

Yup my feeling about the album in general. They must have been working under a tight deadline cause all the songs sound like demos. Some good material here with a lot of potential.
