Billie will be one of those few artists who is still selling records and packing stadiums into her 60s if she so pleases. She still hasn't done a full phoned in mpg dance record or a Beyonce/Gaga style look at how talented I am on every single awards show/primetime event programming era, both of which will massively boost her profile to the people too stupid to have not noticed how incredible she is.

 

The only thing currently stopping her from being Taylor-sized is the fact that she's an alt girlie and not going straight for the most mainstream pop possible. If she ever decides to sell out it will be a bloodbath.

this is what i was thinking. she has plenty of time to still experiment and is talented enough to evolve with her sound.

Better than to be a singer that peaked in her earlier teenager years and since then was not able to deliver anything of substance.

I def think Billie is very talented, but.. good luck with that bolded part!   She is not that type of artist/performer to be able to pull that off. It's already impressive that she can perform her own music well live compared to someone like Lana (who I love very much and sometimes she sounds fine, but yeah). 

 

The second part of your post makes absolutely ZERO sense. The whole point of why Billie is as famous and successful as she is because she makes different type of music? You think she would do better if she suddenly starts making music like Midnights or Lover?  

 

 

Billie is one of the few, if not only, new artist who's genuinely here to stay

 

Like the entire world knows and adores her and her career is nearly a decade old and she's still in her early 20s like she's had an insane run so far

Billie is an excellent singer and songwriter and her talent is applicable to any genre. She's only 4 albums in and has shown more versatility than that other girl so- 

 

If she starts behaving like ATRLs favs and chasing hits specifically it's over for the girls.

Billie has proven time and time again that she has the talent that will attract the GP. She doesn't rely on gimmicks or a weird parasocial relationship with her fans.

No correlation at all? I would've said the same thing if she was working with a female producer/songwriter too, ever since the start of her career she's working with just one artist who is her brother who produces her songs and also writes. This literally applies for every singer/producer+songwriter duo. It's like how some people are tired of Jack's sound and want artists to work with other people. That's why I said it depends on who she's working with, Billie is the one who keeps saying how helpful her brother is for her music. I even said "for now he has new things to try though" to mention he's nowhere as near as Jack about not having anymore creativity lol. She'll probably continue to grow.
