- Forums are an outdated form of social media, I honestly think I'm one of the few people I know that uses forums at my age

- People here discuss the same 10 topics and have done for 10+ years. It gets a little old once you been here a while

- Monoculture is not a thing anymore, pop culture is harder to discuss when half of the sites got no idea who and what happened

- Sites like Reddit takes traffic from forums

    The fact that even serious/sincere topics get quickly filled with users that think that is the time & place to fill it with stan wars comments etc.
