That performance wasn't half bad, actually. But her new song with Doechii sounds terrible lol. 

 

I didn't think it could get worse than WW, but she proved me wrong sksks

vma performance devoured  the levitating intro (serving less unhinged and more cunty pink) is iconic. not to mention she sounds amazing! the vocal stability while doing all the flying and runing? we love a singer!

So I always loved TD era, but was never into her performances and tonight she was a star. 

 

Everything was so good. The pacing, the setlist, her outfit, the stage, it was beyond. 

 

 

Probably her best performance ever.

And she really made Teenage Dream songs more mature with this live version, I felt that in a spiritual level,  I can't explain.

Katy Perry is really THE POPSTAR and she's here to stay.

Yes it's what I think about all the performance. That's why I think it could be considered even better then the Superbowl. She's shown the gp that she isn't just a teen act of the past, she's evolvig and is able to always give new life to her timeless hits. She gives vocals, stage presence, choreo, visuals, all in one performance, that's what makes her a true artist.

Katy has me in a chockehold, I really didn't rest tonight and watched her performance live... I mean the feeling to live it LIVE is like revive the childhood/adolescence period when I was watching her at home on MTV and rooting for her. Oh, the memory... only a global popstar could do it and her name it's KATY PERRY

Can't wait anymore for this albummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Also, Nirvana with be mixed so f*cking good with ET and Dark Horse. 

That performance actually made me tear up at certain points bc of how epic and good it all was 

What a legacy, what a POP STAR! I need 143 NOW 

 

Also, the modernized mixes of the songs she performed are incredible. That new version of Teenage Dream slaps!!!

The way she carries her hits on her shoulders recreating magic everytime, adding some belt or giving them a fresh version with different instrumentals, or with her mature voice will be always remembered. It's not easy having so many hits in a discography and be able to recreate year after year a new world with your songs but Katy Perry proved herself she can, so her legacy will be immaculate.

 

Also, 143 is a good progression in her career, like she's doing a feast of colour and music with this new album, I see her vision and I will celebrate.

Is the album actually seamless as in every song flows to the next one? If so, I'm gonna stan 

So I just listened to "I'm his, he's mine" and I really liked it!

 

Feels like a bon appétit 2.0 to me

Every time she performs I get nervous cuz she might hit or miss (at least vocally) but she devoured, I wish there were more elements after I'm His, He's Mine but the Dark Horse / E.T. part is actually one of the best performances in the history of the VMAs

She's truly looking better then ever, it's crazy

Only 1 week left.

 

Yesterday's performance got me so hype for the tour, this is the best she's sounded and she for sure knows how to put on a good show

1 week until I see she dropping a new album totally live, I'm so excited to Rock in Rio

I hope I have enough time to learn the lyrics until the show
