I was just wondering what this bald man's opinion was because the world desperately needs it and everyone constantly asks for! He's bald, btw!

Very fair review, Fantano has always liked Megan and gives her a fair shot

 

The album is good, not great

Love Megan to death, but this was a very fair review and he summed up all the mixed feelings I've been having about this album perfectly.

He was incredibly generous with his score & in how he buttered up the first half of the review. 
 

He should do it again, without the kid gloves. 
 

That said, I share the gripes he listed about the album:

 

- Lack of sonic evolution 

- The areas where she tried something new, failed 

- Uninspired production 

- On-the-nose lyricism that comes off cringe & lack of creative metaphors 

- Repetitive flow - to the point it all begins to sound the same

- Inconsistent theme
