7 out of 16 songs being released already  So we're really just getting an EP. Can artists/bands stop doing this plz? Idc that it adds more streams to what would be a flop album otherwise.

 

Also at least 3 songs being soundtrack singles is just…

While I'm happy for Sunshine and West Coast to have a home my hype went out the window when I realized that they are gonna put Runaway, Nobody and latest Guetta song. I ain't worried is bop so I guess it's ok, but the other 3... Not another playlist from them...

 

Native was such a good album. And Oh My My was ahead of its time with few fillers, but Human was unlistenable playlist and now this...

What is that song playing in the preview!?  Sounds exciting!

It's just embarrassing - and tragic really. Great 3 first albums, very good 4th album. And then whatever the **** they've been doing since then. What happened - Ryan?

Probably filled with bland 2-min-songs which is sad because their first two / three? albums had a few nice tracks!

 

They kinda lost their magic during the Human era, imo.

Oh My My flopping got to his head, it's easy to pinpoint the before and after that  on paper a follow up to Native was a surefire hit but they waited too long.

The whole album better not be under 3 minutes per song. that's so dumb

it's gonna be an embarrassing collection of ringtones and trend chasing sounds...

They rearranged the album tracklist, now all the old songs except IAW are at the very end

Exactly why I stopped listening to them after Oh My My. Was hoping this would be some what if a return to form but, as you said, another playlist.

At least on Human years old songs were properly placed. 

I think I'm gonna cut Mirage, Nobody and Fire from tracklist.

At least Hurt sounds decent.

 

Better than anything we've gotten recently, but still not in love with it.

album with 18 tracks is 47 minutes long. I'm really losing interest in music in general because of the streaming.

I'm on track 8 which is Singapore and it's just instrumental. Last Holiday was only song that sounded like a song, the rest, I can't even tell when they start and end. Out of 11 songs we have intro, instrumental and outro so that's only 8 new songs. There are more droplets than new songs. Yikes. 

 

I hoped Human flopping would at least inspire Ryan to make better music and not chase success anymore, but yet, he made even worse album than Human.

Human flopping just made him give up on albums

I think this might be the most mid album of the year for me

 

like it's not bad but it's not good either. It's just… whatever 

This is so bland / mid, they're part of those famous bands in 2010 that lost their magic, imo. (OneRepublic / Imagine Dragons / Clean Bandit, etc.)

 

I was excited for "Singapore", then I thought the intro was a bit long and realized it was an instrumental track lol. Beautiful instrumentation, though.

 

"Runaway" is quite basic but I kind of I enjoyed it, tbh.

 

"Room For You / Stargazing / Entr'acte + West Coast / Sunshine" are cute / okay.

Didn't even know this was released. Probably their most "basic" album in a long while. There's no highs. 

 

I really wish they'd go back to the Native sound. Haven't saved a single song from this new album
