I'd argue J Christ flopped harder. Even though Nas peaked higher in USA Camila peaked at #90 on global 200 while Nas peaked at #91. 

 

I luv it is at 25m streams and doing 1.2m daily. J christ is at 31m and doing 100k daily. I luv it will pass J Christ easily.

I like Lil Nas but everything about that song and its rollout was embarrassing

Christ is horribly lame, tacky and embarrassing... But it's not THAT awful

 

The other is an absolute monstrosity. Easily the worst song of the year

I mean at least lil nas came off of a bigger era, so in that sense J Christ should've had a far better opening; it is the better song solely for being somewhat listenable though!
