maybe i'm too hopeful but i can see pitchfork giving this a best new track potentially 

I like Jack for certain artists but his production just washed Annie's music out. the two songs we have so far are just explosive

I have to be 100% honest as much as it was love on first listen for me, the lengthy solo has needed to take some getting used to… but NOW??? i'm completely on board  this is self-titled level excellence, like Every Tear Disappears-grade art rock PERFECTION

 

similar vibes with the haunting bell-like synths thrown in on both songs!!
