It's definitely more subdued than Juno, I'd say it's a lot more of a "mature" record. She sounds so good though and I think the less pop influence will help the album age really well.

    I've never fully checked her out, I really liked Quiet on Set when that came out and this wasn't really on my radar until I heard Alone in Miami and I loved it. Then I heard Soup last week and fell in love. Checking the album out now and I LOVE it, maybe I should give her first album a go as well.

    I've had Pitiful stuck in my head the last few days 

    enjoy this more everytime i listen to it.  been creeping up on me that 'just the start' sounds like daniel johnston which is such a random ass reference point for this album to have
