Fans have been speculating that Katy Perry would announce something related to KP6 today after the singer dropped multiple hints at a 14/3 date... This would mark her first official music release since 2021.

 

 

Some of the evidences:

Some hints are including this clock, posted last week, saying 1/43, when put in another order 14/3. In addition, Orlando Bloom commented 143, meaning "i love you", and which is also referring to today's date.

Last but not least, today is national butterfly day, which has been confirmed being katy's upcoming era theme, which would make perfect sense.

 

What do we think of that?

A supposed reliable insider on X said the lead is being released 22/03 so it seems logical but I prefer not to put my hopes high

The clock thing is a little bit of a stretch but if you're squinting and trying to fit that narrative then maybe? I personally DO think something will be announced today. She would be dumb to let this hype die down but at the same time manage my expectations that it could not happen at the same time. Why tease so much these past few weeks, asking the katycats if they're ready to rise again? Seems cruel. Doing a prayer circle for an announcement rn LOL
