This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone genuinely argue that Michael Jackson only reached his level of fame because of his controversies. Michael was a predator, but it’s just ridiculous to ignore how inescapable his music was and still is. It’s not an insult to Taylor to say that MJ was more successful than her. It’s just a fact.
