LOL, Katy's career was a footnote compared to Taylor's. She was successful for 5 years. It's been almost that long since Lover and she's been on a 2-year imperial phase, 15+ years into her career, that shows no signs of ending. We've never seen a female pop star with this trajectory before. Even Madonna at this point in her career had huge touring success, but her run as a hitmaker/album seller was nearing its end - and that was coming off a big "comeback" after her slump in the '90s, which Taylor has never had.
