I'm currently an MD completing my residency in the United States, and I'm living paycheck to paycheck. I'm looking for alternate sources of income but because of my visa status, I'm really limited. It's been super frustrating. I'm also doing fellowship so it'll be a few years before I step up to a better salary.

 

Back in college, people used to pay me to write essays for them. I know... it's not ethical. But I'm literally struggling to put food on the table, and I've run out of options.

 

Anyone have experience doing this safely? Any advice for how to go about doing this now that I've graduated and moved to a whole new country?

I've been doing translations for a little over a year to pay for medical checks and follow ups and I honestly wouldn't recommend doing papers. they're very time comsuming and unless you're getting a big check in return it generally doesn't pay well. wish you the best.

Have you considered private tuition? Lots of parents are happy to pay cash in hand. If you have decent level of education in something like maths, a language, one of the sciences you can charge a pretty good rate.
