Britney Jean was recently updated in Dolby Atmos and while certain parts of songs like Body Ache and Passenger highlight Myah's presence, there are gifts we received from this album getting the Dolby Atmos treatment. The main two gifts being that Work ***** sounds immaculate in Britney's pure voice and Alien being fixed to the point where the glitch is no longer present at the 2:13 mark and Britney's vocals sound wonderful on the song. Britney Jean will never be close to being on par with Britney's other albums, however, this song in particular is a little ray of sunshine out of a very dark period. We witnessed in I Am Britney Jean how Britney fought for the song to receive the single treatment and to get a spot in the Piece of Me setlist only for the single request to be a non-factor once the album was released and the focus was solely on the Vegas residency. As Britney mid tempos are concerned, Alien fits right in with her other deep cut mid tempos.

    I would have loved for alien to be the 1st single.

    Sia wrote on Perfume, Passenger and BMS, and has background vocals on them but I don’t see what that has to do with Alien.

    I love Alien I lowkey cried when I heard the demo for the first time. The official release completely ruined the song... but when she said this is my most personal to date, Alien really felt like it was true to Britney's life. Her life's very unrelatable and she's been isolated many times.
