  • And y’all wonder why Taylor is so big, maybe it’s because we can tell she’s the only main pop girl who actually cares more about music than becoming a pyramid scheme lipstick saleswoman

  • These popgirls are becoming lazy. Where's the innovation? Where's Fenty Kitchenware?

Another washed up singer launching a generic, overpriced, low quality cosmetic line. The Rihanna print is alive and breathing.

Ugh like no offense to Adele bc i stanned so hard for 19-25 but I really don’t see her bringing anything new at all to the cosmetics industry…even the name of the brand sounds dated and matronly

The Shelbourne Collective is giving old maiden type of shoes makeup

her last album did nearly 900k first week and her vegas residency is doing spectacularly what is the threshold for a “washed up” artist exactly  :deadbanana4:

God, another pop girl selling makeup…
Fenty is a gift and a curse.

The only celebrity I would want

to have a make Up line is Jlo. I love how she does her make up. But kim K pretty much does her the same so now I use her make up artist Mario’s line.

Adele should just make a sickening eyeliner cause she always has her eyeliner cute

Interesting moves, cos I don't think she is ever known for her make up?

Because they can afford the tickets, lol. They've got that white money. But Adele would not have done those numbers in music if she didn't have cross-demographic support.

That same money will be getting used to buy her new Mabel Maroon lipstick and Beatrice Beige foundation.

Edit: not me just seeing now that it’s called the Shelbourne Collective

you can’t make it up :rip:

Credit card seller Taylor Swift?? She is the worst actually

Maybe an eyeliner liner could be cute for her. She's kinda owns it on all her album covers.

Besides that, i don't see it.

She should get her own line of Ozempic, dominate a different market.

Didn't she throw shade on singers who release perfumes before?

on top of my head rolling stone interview “I don’t make music for eyes, I make music for ears”. She was lowkey anti-popstar back then and the GP loved that about her

She’s a bland, mediocre hypocrite with a nasty attitude. Duh!

She must’ve lost buckets of money on the first scrapped version of her Vegas show + all the renovations she forced on the venue + probably whatever hit they made her take on her $$$ to account for the huge mess she made. There’s also a record label advance that she probably needs to pay back after hundreds of thousands of 30 vinyl + millions of CDs were produced but never sold. Gotta make the money back somehow!

Sad. I'm not the biggest fan of her music, but I hope we don't lose yet another should-be Legend to the quick money of cosmetics, and fast fashion.

I don't mean to sound alarmist, but with the way things are going for the music industry, I wonder if the concept of "living legend" will even still be relevant in a few decades.

You aren't the most charming person yourself.

It's because Adele grew up on Shelbourne Road in Tottenham, London. So it's a reference to that. And again, regarding the old, white audience, there's a lot of them flying from England to see her, so that explains it as well.

The problem is that streaming just doesn't pay artists enough, so now the only way to make serious money is by touring, or looking at other business ventures altogether.
