Madonna's song Up Down Suite seems to be sampled in Up 'N' Down. Both Madonna and Britney's songs sample Good Life by Inner City.

Yes you are correct! It samples 'Up Down Suite' from Madonna which samples 'Good Life' itself.

My 14 year-old self used to be obsessed with this song, FF deluxe tracks are all 10/10.

Oh wow! That would be so cool to hear, I wonder if it would have been more 90s house orientated before it was added to Femme Fatale.

Up N Down and Up Down Smash are both great but the real icon here is Good Life 

the way I remember the base used to watch the performance videos on exhale for the “live” vocal runs she did for this smash on tour

She sung "all of them girls you with/ they're probably hating me" in Anaheim but that's the only instance you heard her voice through the mic. Simpler times

It's the same type of record pretty much, look for the snippets on Soundcloud. It must not have been that different because it was finished song before she recorded it.
