Isn't Taeyeon the Korean Taylor Swift?

As a songwriter who knows, but UI really sings, taylor vocals are meh.

They’re both wonderfully talented, excellent at what they do. We love two legendary women in music 

I love IU! 

 

She is a much better singer, dancer and actor. 

 

I don't believe in comparing songwriting skill across languages since you really need to know both languages to appreciate the lyrics  and wordplay .  But IU really impresses me that she was able to evolve into a successful songwriter in the kpop idol system. She amazingly transcended idol hood in Korea. 

 

IU is a great songwriter and I appreciate how she doesn't insist on fake songwriting credits for songs she didn't contribute to. I appreciate that on her most recent album she only took songwriting credits for 2/10 of the songs she actually wrote on. 

 

I think she is the quintessential south korean musical icon of the 2010s and 2020s over any kpop group.

No, Taeyeon is more of a vocalist than both of them. IU and Taylor have very similar public images and focus on their songwriting.

Miss Lee Ji-eun.

IU is probably the most talented artist in the world. This is unfair.

Taeyeon is more of the Beyoncé of Korea since she came from a Girl Group and has longevity of over 15+ years as a top idol.

I think that that title would fit to someone like TWICE's Dahyun since they're both not that strong vocally but write songs and play multiple instruments. Others idols would fit too but they aren't as successful as TWICE.

If we’re being honest, I know it’s a cover and doesn’t showcase her songwriting capabilities, but I’m pretty sure the first minute of her recording of Autumn Morning is what you hear when you die if you go to heaven. 

IU is a fraud. Taylor is miles better.

has any of the twice members done something more than just lyrics for their songs? also taylor is a MUCH better singer than dahyun, but i get the comparison
