I guess it’s because their media/social persona has always been low-key compared to other hit makers (example I always use, could you do this person on Snatch Game?)

I think they are fairly rated as a hitmaker. Not everything sticks. But they do have hits stretching out throughout their career which is an indicator of a stable career.

lost respect because some of the GP feel they got “duped” when Sam wasn’t the “safe” gay that made them comfortable anymore…
