honestly? i have no idea, but i trust in her, because she's the queen of pop of after all

Hopefully a more electronic album, like a better executed witness. Give us more Power with it's prog soundscapes and some dark electro instrumentals.

 

If she give us an acoustic album, I will drop her. This is the time to experiment, since she is no longer at the top. Hell, find Vekktroid and give a vaporwave album filled with Tsunamis.

i mean what she can do if not trying the "more songwriter" image. It's what the market asks. She needs this mix of Sour and Jagged little pill

it's surprising that aside from the mega smashes, people are forgetting how much mid-tempo filler/ballads this girlie tacks onto her albums, that's a given.

Hopefully she diverts from that this time round

lol Avril's whole career is based on pop-rock, Katy would come across as a poser completely. Also that pop-rock phase has already passed so...

But honestly I wouldn’t mind an acoustic album. Or a return to pop-rock sound.

Katy has bigger pop rock hits than Avril though like Hot n Cold, TD title track. So she's already associated with that genre.

Acoustic album but only with a full band and upbeat tracks. Not just an acoustic guitar like artists usually do.
