236k for Irreplaceable, while 281k for Alejandro. It outsold it in English countries yes, but globally Irreplaceable struggled to reach top 10 in most of Europe, while Alejandro was #2 or 3 in most only behind waka waka.

Daily streams on ONE PLATFORM BTW has y’all in a chokehold that you need to break free from. And it’s a 50k difference 

 Irreplaceable was the #1 song of 2007 globally, it wins the bigger argument

Alejandro is better though, it's far more timeless and a far greater example of pop perfection

this comparison is so strange, they barely have anything in common except for being bops by female pop artists

I listen to Alejandro more but I listened to Irreplaceable the other day and forgot how great of a song it is. From the vocals to the lyrics to the melody. I hadn't played it in a long while because it got so overplayed back in the day but it really is a tune.
