I didn't care for Midnights-- I actually prefer the 3AM tracks to most of the standard album tracks-- however, Snow on the Beach is great. Lana's vocals on the chorus. Taylor's whispery singing. The wintery beat. Had the album had that sound, I'd say Midnights would be on par with folklore and evermore. 

 

I see Anti-Hero getting a lot of love, which I understand-- I legitimately like that song. But tracks like Lavender Haze, Bejeweled, Midnight Rain, Vigilante Sh*t, and Karma (which also get a lot of love on ATRL) are so underwhelming, imo. 

 

Anyone else think SOTB actually slaps? 

Not at all, but I’m sure Lana and Taylor’s s*xtape is unrated

I used to think SOTB was top 5 on the standard, but it really doesn't age well at all for me. 

Yes. Easily the best song on Mid-nights.

Nope. Easily Lana's worst collab.

Yes, it's quite pretty, just wish Lana had more parts in it. It would honestly SLAY as a Lana-solo effort and would be HAILED like YTH if it was unreleased.

The real underrated track of Midnights is Glitch, like how are y'all sleeping on that lofi masterpiece? 

 

Other underrated tracks are High Infidelity & Dear Reader. Idk if Mastermind gets a lot of love, but that one feels underrated too. 

I guess it is underrated because swifties will viciously tear down any song that is not a career defining masterpiece.  SOTB is a fantastic song but bottom half for Taylor’s discography.

Snow on the Beach is the best sing on that album, but no Swiftie is ready for that conversation. Us Taylana stans are just on a higher realm.
