I know that a thread about an album released by an Italian artist won't get much traction, but I had to do it because Elodie's new work is excellent! 

 

It's literally so good. The transitions between the songs and the general vibe of the entire album are giving me Confessions on a Dance Floor. Stream it and vote for "Due" at the Sanremo Music Festival!

Italian Dua did what she had to do. The transitions are amazing indeed. Due is SOTY but I’m currently obsessed with Mai Più 

 

The only negative aspect is the cover. Idk what they were thinking with that

Saw her live in June and she was fantastic!

This is the first album of hers I listen in full (although I did appreciate the singles from This is Elodie), but I am enjoying this record way more than I thought 

 

I am not sure “Due” was the best choice for Sanremo, but she is among the singers that deserves to win the most

She said her choice for Sanremo was between Due and Danse la vie, which is IMO better as a song but probably less suited for Sanremo.

Yeah, I think I have read that somewhere… I am mean, Due is a nice song and probably the most Sanremo-friendly track, but it would have been nicer to go with a more “agressive” track, like “Mai Piu”, “Ok. Respira” or “Purple in The Sky” (maybe with an Italian title)

Yep, it's a shame, the top 5 is HORRIBLE. Eurovision deserves an italian MPG like Elodie.

Oh I like Danse la vie much more than Due, I wish she would've gone with that one instead. I'll give the rest of the album a listen later today.

I saw her live in june and i will see her in may, can't wait!
