I mean, I think the progression of an era is not as lineal as it used to be. People get into songs for different reasons at different paces nowadays I believe. The Last of Us Posted January 26, 2023 Share Posted January 26, 2023 I haven’t heard the full song yet but that Apple Music preview did nothing for me. I was excited for this song and imagined it to have more of a rock edge to it, but it’s just a bland club-pop track. It reminds me of What About Us, which is one of her worst songs. I love the lyrics and especially the production. Folks will sayit's the same basic music from her but it's so well done and even emotional.
