Happened last era too, but I dont blame them. Why spend weeks promoting a song Korea clearly said NO to.

 

While I always love and want a Twice comeback, hopefully they can take some time to focus on other projects and come back with something more fresh. (Though I'm still using Set Me Free )

Pristin's story is about a group with a lot of heart that was crushed by the greed of their company. Pristin in my opinion could have been great. Not all groups debut and have hundreds of thousands of sales a lot of groups and a lot of the most popular groups now started small. Pledis couldn't see that and they wanted big result, fast. (Its a same because after a year Iz*one left the pledis agreement)

Maybe they disbanded because they were fighting, maybe Kyla's accusation had a part in it but I truly believe that their disbandment was a mix of mismanagement, lack of foresight, unrealistic expectations and sudden change in Pledis.

It ended because Bighybe didn't want them on the books when Pledis was transferred from CJENM.  It'd be like Source Music incinerating Gfriend before getting acquired, minus the success.

 

The real sad part is Hinapina lost their financing when the money guy who partnered with the former Pledis/SM executive found himself with millions of dollars of medical equipment circling the Pacific with no where to port during the beginning of the pandemic and freaked out.  And none of those big boy group companies were willing to throw them a lifeline.

 

 

NMIXX's new song made me revisit this k-lassic and whew

 

people don't talk enough about their pre-REBOOT days. truly the best to ever make it.
