okay I just watched the Twice billboard performance, do they usually perform like this? cause they're so bland, faceless and uninteresting on stage 

I always thought they were atleast good dancers because of how the oncez here talk about them but they're not even serving in that department

 

was it the song? were they nervous? idk it wasn't it

 

is this how 99.9% of kpop groups performs without the whole inkigayo lighting and setup?

Blackpink got those brands after arduous model work, playing into the fashion industry, slowly escalating the ladder by being local ambassador and attending shows as +1 until the global industry finally noticed them.

 

Whilst these luxury brands are salivating over BTS members and immediately filling them with global ambassador positions and campaigns because of how relevant their MUSIC career is.

 

Looking at it like that, BP members do hustle a lot when they are actually interested in something

It’s their first award show in the US, also had the mic issue. It’s not their best performance but give them a break. 
 

It’s kinda stupid to say BTS get brands deals  inorganically when they have in the industry for a decade they didn’t get brand deals because HYBE said OT7 over solo deals. It’s much better than  toddlers getting sponsored while they have no relevancy individually

Exactly the language barrier is there and they are visibly nervous because this is their first televised red carpet and “award show” event in the US, but at least they’re not pretending to be someone they’re not. I believe Nayeon can speak English better than anyone in the group but she decided to stay back (I blame the veneers lol). Mina was there too but whatever. That translator though, couldn’t they get someone more spontaneous?

idk what’s up with you recently and your constant “what happened?” questions about Twice pretending to be clueless just to drag them sis….but to answer your question: no, they’re not usually like that. Their dancing wasn’t bad, they were really going for it. It’s an amalgamation of a lot of things that made it look bland. The messy camera angles, the mic going off, the lighting not even highlighting anybody in particular during their point choreos, the nervousness obviously-being their first televised honor event in the US.  

and no, people CAN come at you with born pink tour videos because they’re also ‘opinions’. Stop acting brand new.

idk why you would think that but I genuinely haven't seen 5 twice performances in my entire life I swear to god but whatever  I came to watch the billboard performance just because everybody in here was talking about it and I was disappointed cause whenever I see people here talk about them like they're amazing performers and that's what I got when I watch it

 

and since you said that's not how they usually perform then I guess my question is answered

I mean they’re just returning the same energy you’re giving them by showing you that your faves can also have the same kinda stages that you’re talking about other artists 

And I’ve never instigated anything against rv and I only reply when they wanna drag my faves into it. Otherwise I leave them alone 

As a BTS fan, I see what blinks mean this time tbh. Yes, BTS could have all the brand deals they wanted for years but HYBE didn't let them, that part is true. (Also, BTS are expensive so I don't know why one would think all brands could afford BTS as a whole )

 

But it's also accurate that fashion brands being so interested in K-Pop now is because of BP. They saw the appeal because of BP. My problem is why do blinks only want BP to have brand deals... I mean I have an idea, but I'd like an explanation
