TanjiroKamado Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Am I really the only one here who thinks these sales are extremly sketchy lmao. The second BTS started selling millions suddenly all these SM and JYP nugu groups became million sellers too. These sales aint believable if its not BTS, BP and lowkey NJ
Cotton Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Lisa would be DUMB not to accept that £81M offer. Like truly this might be the end of BP as we know it. They all have their global platforms and connections now. YG is a liability!

So I think we have at least 2 more years. Wait I forgot that there's some 93 liners are yet to get enlistment which of course excluding BTS due to them being special case. Take example of Monsta X OT7, Wonho being 93 liners just enlisted on last December and Minhyuk and Kihyun being 93 liners as well are yet to get enlisted. This is where I'm getting confused because I did read some source that the government amend the enlistment law in the last few years so the Korean male must getting enlist by the time they reached 28th birthday as opposed to old law which is 30th birthday. So I think SVT are saved for now until like 2025 if they follow the old law. 7 hours ago, Witnessed ET said: Yeah I think so too. Unless they wanna start early and get it out of the way quicker. So Joshua and Vernon don’t have to enlist right? Along with Jun and The8 of course. and it’s wild how EXO is STILL not completely done with the military service, thank god there is a group comeback this year otherwise we have to wait another 2 years for it i don’t even want to think about that once SVT starts their enlistment. Unless SVT pull ONF that the Korean nationality members go enlist together or by batches, the OT13 military hiatus could be as long as EXO 6 hours ago, kendoll2001 said: I was actually reading tea about how Vernon does have to enlist (cause even though he was born in New York) his family moved to Korea when he was 5, and he ended up obtaining his Korean citizenship. So only Joshua, Jun and The8 will be the constants left while the boys are gone. I'm really intrigued to see how the group manages with less members. I obviously love OT13, but the biggest drawback against SVT for non fans has always been the size of 13 members, so I'm actually excited to see how they'd operate as a smaller unit for a few years - before everyone returns Yeah I remember Vernon have to serve military because he's live inside Korea long enough and IIRC received primary education in Korea despite being born overseas.

Billionaire Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) If the offers are from Chinese comapnies she shouldn't take it They'll lock her up forever and kill her global potential Otherwise i don't see why not. Ideally the girls should leave YG while still basically being under BP (a GOT7 tea?) but I doubt that'll happen so Edited January 23, 2023 by Billionaire

Look at how no one talk about Winwin anymore since he left for China. Im sure they will get more than $16 millions. But if it was me, looking at how they can still use the BP name with these new laws, I would leave. But since they are loyal to Teddy they would never

Bang PD better get those coins out and snatch these girls. Like imagine having BTS and BP under your company, which means they can also collab with each other including having solo collabs. Imagine a collab between Jungkook and Jisoo or Suga and Jennie etc. Yg plus is HYBE manufactor and distributor. I don’t think they will risk their partnership. Edited January 23, 2023 by Adama

TaylenaStan Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 If the BP girls are serious about their music career they need to leave 100% If they renew with YG it basically confirms they are fine being full time models and part time musicians I mean if they want that then its fine, but then they need to stop pretending they want to keep us fans fed
State of Grace. Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Lisa has the most MPG potential and can literally ask for much more, especially from other global companies so I hope she (and the other girls) is very smart about these offers and future career cause this one aint it Ideally we'd still have them as a group outside of YG but that's too good to be true I fear.

But I’m just going by when recent idols have enlisted, and believe “you have to enlist within the final year before your 30th birthday, globally”. So all 93s have to enlist by this year, with 94s starting to go as well - heading into 2024. It makes sense for SM to do an EXO comeback in the window they have this year with all the members being available, before Kai and Sehun go. And my guess is that SVT will enlist in batches by years (95s, 96s, etc) so it’ll keep enough members around — and would be done within 4 years Edited January 23, 2023 by kendoll2001

But as intriguing as it would to see Blackpink with a HYBE execution, I oddly feel the girls are content with this system they’ve established when it comes to releasing music and being active? I feel they’ll happily settle with Teddy and Black Label in the end. But they should 1000% negotiate to hell and back for every single millions of dollars they’re worth. They need to strong arm YG and establish full control and power over their next chapters Edited January 23, 2023 by kendoll2001

The amount of wasted potential is so frustrating.

There’s been so much discourse on whether the girls are happy, or with how things have unfolded, so it’ll be really telling to see what they decide — and whether they stay with YG. Maybe they’ve been desperate for change this whole time and will finally be able to do so, or maybe they’re fine with how things are? They’re arguably the most powerful women in KPOP, with endless negotiation power and leverage. So it’ll be interesting to see what they choose.
getinthezone Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 so yeah re-signing with YG is probably the worst thing to do for them seeing the numbers, as they can probably get a much better deal outside YG
