Told you that the difference btw Wonyoung and girls like Minji, Yuna and Karina is that these girls companies don’t let them do solo gigs. But the demands is here and I bet might be even bigger for someone like Minji or Karina.

I agree. The companies need to take a page out of the YG playbook and begin investing in the girls individual brands. We want individual instagrams for all members, solo outings and solo gigs, endless personal brand deals, let’s start building from the jump ladies

It’s understandable when you are a rookie to have a group Instagram first, so the GROUP fanbase can be built but also having solo insta accounts, are the best way to reach a larger audience. And that exactly what LSRFM are doing and honestly their popularity seems more balanced now (even, Sakura akgaes are mad that Kazuha is getting a lot of fashion push instead of her). NJ seems to go into this direction as well. 
 

Not only BP strategy, but also Girls generation and it paid of in the long run! 

The way no one cares about MB mc until WY now now they’re begging for their favs to be the MC  Her power

Huh? MB Mc was always considered as a big thing to do, previous MC include Irene,Park Bo gum,Park Seo Joon & SISTAR's Bora and even THE Song Joong ki was a Music bank MC.

NJ girls are getting solo gigs from the start - Hanni, Hyein and Danielle attended a couple of pop-ups right after their debut 

 

I guess they decided it’s better to go BP route rather than BTS in that department  that’s what SM should do with aespa right from the beginning, their brand would be so much bigger by now

I didn’t say they had no famous celebrities but it wasn’t a big deal for kpop Stans.

Soobin and Arin were THE main event every week when they MC-ed Music Bank. K-pop stans were all over them both in Korea and internationally.

Before them Irene and Bogum were the main event for knetz.

 

Yes, Wonyoung is the it girl, but the reason why k-pop stans want their faves to be MC is not her.
