Passing 800M streams for 2022 + With WFH hitting over 100M streams this year on YouTube/Spotify separately. The slay has slain again. Worth It hitting 100M this year on YouTube too. As messy as they were, with the right songs and if Camila stayed for one more album you can really see how powerful this girl group is and they never even reached full potential. A comeback would be very successful with all 5 girls and nostalgia. Their last release was 2017.

Yes, I'm very surprised. 

Their in-person, empirical dynamics might have been a mess but they worked and sounded flawlessly as a 'studio' ensemble: their voices compliment each other perfectly for their unique, distinctive qualities. 

I don't think anybody really misses them tbh. they had only 2 hits

 

and without Camila a.k.a 4H is just too boring. She might sign on to a reunion in a year or two if her solo floppage continues

they ended because they released flopping DOWN the charts as a lead single instead of literally any other song on that album

i miss them as a group . i wish their solo careers have done better .

I do miss them but as time goes on it's easy to tell they weren't happy as a group. Worth It and Work From Home will never die, they truly struck gold when they were offered the latter. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since self titled.

Ugh, the way Normani serves on these videos.

 

Wtf happened?!?? 

They weren't all that impressive to me. They weren't even the best act on their season of XF. I think Normani is one of the only members with real potential and talent. Having saw them live, and also having saw Little Mix live... LM put them to shame and we're arguably the better girl group of the time, but were ignored by the American music market. IMO, they were another mis-mash of varying questionable "talent" (from certain members...) created by S*mon C*well for no other purpose other than making him more money. The only time he ever truly struck gold was with 1D. The rest of his attempts... Well...

I am not surprised.

Your point is moot the moment you confidently say "Normani" along with "real potential and talent". She is by far the most fierce performer and the best dancer, but her strengths are just those. She cannot sing live (also unimpressive in-studio) and she has zero drive nor passion for her career, while 'working' on a debut album for half a decade. To me Dinah Jane has the best songs so far (Dinah Jane 1 was a flawless EP) and she's just more real. She literally had to halt everything due to her personal life, but at least she put her problems out there for her fans to know what's going on.

 

You got Ally doing whatever she can to even have a career, nothing was handed to her, she relied on improving her dancing and delivering great tracks. 

 

Normani never reassures but gives out empty promises. She's the biggest disappointment from the group. 

We need a reunion next year!

SAME! Ally and Dinah seem to have that curse were their second singles should have been their lead singles. Lauren just needed promotion tbh. Her songs are all bops and very marketable. Normani is... Hiatus

if they wanted to putting egos aside and just come back for money. I think they would succeed with an album full of bops and a world tour.

This was such SINGLE MATERIAL. Ally's bridge is such a stand out.

Recurrent Spotify Streams for their self titled album don't crack 50k daily plays for the WHOLE album, and their entire discography struggles to generate over 1m daily plays. Despite having two MASSIVE hits and several moderate hits. I promise you they are not missed.

With around 9 million listeners hanging on since 2017 is pretty impressive. We don't claim streams for Self Titled since EPIC didnt care about the group or Meghan Trainor in 2018

You'd think with their name recognition and significant cult following it would do better. And considering their playlisting is well over 90m I don't see the 9m figure as surprisingly nor impressive.

10% retention of that 90% isnt bad considering some acts barely get %5 That means people enjoy their music. Esp since 90M isnt directed solely towards self titled.

If they came back with a messy reality show of them rehearsing like Danity Kane they would have hits
