nathanspears Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 I give up on the world. I don't even know what to say anymore. We deserve a meteor to destroy us all.
James_Dean Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 I'm so goddam tired of these people have a ******* platform to talk and spread their hatred. Just shut the **** up
Beyonnaise Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Beyond being the nadir of humanity vile scum, these alt-right influencers are also just painfully idiotic and bad at achieving their goals Like they rope in some centrists who say "hey he has a point there" when they talk about things like pronouns or critical race theory or whatever the latest overblown cause célèbre on the right is, but they then go full mask off with "Hitler was good actually" and alienate the somewhat sane people completely
stjosephprey4us Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Why are we even reporting on him anymore. Enough is enough
CandleGuy Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 We are not ready for where the world is heading. This kind of talk would have been unthinkable just 7-10 years ago. Kanye tends to be ahead of the curve when it comes to music and fashion, if he's just ahead of the curve here and we're going to have a full blown, mainstream Nazi movement in the US....

No, I mean even the music and fashion is questionable. And idk if he's ahead of anything, it's more like he's influencing others to follow him. And that's the concern here. Look at where we are, versus 10 years ago. In 2012 these people were very fringe, they would barely get any attention unless it's a joke. Now, these alt-right people have ingrained themselves in politics, they own companies, they have actually created a discourse and radicalized people. In 2016, we said they would die out. Instead we saw a large white nationalist protest where a woman was killed. Every time we say these people are jokes, they will die off, they won't do much, people won't believe them. We say a lot of things to sweep them away, but they grow more and more powerful as young people join their ranks.

His debut brought non-gangsta rap back into the mainstream. 808s and Heartbreak birthed modern mumble rap. People clowned the Yeezys but then they were the best selling shoe on the market and other companies made knockoffs. Even Adidas, who made the Yeezy, made their own knockoffs. You can have your own opinion on whether his music or fashion is good but what Kanye puts out there gets adopted by the masses, this has been true for nearly 20 years. Hopefully people see through this lunacy but already you have people like Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, and Steven Crowder - who are all influential in their own right - normalizing straight up Naziism.

I mean questionable in the sense of quality. I'm here for non-gansta rap but not the mumbling. But yes he's definitely gathered a major following, and I fear how many boys look up to him and soak up every word.

DeSantis has his own neo-Nazi followers that he won't denounce. Unlike some Republicans, DeSantis is currently staying silent on the Trump-Ye dinner and the follow up where Kanye praised Hitler. https://www.salon.com/2022/12/02/ron-desantis-stays-silent-on-the-ye-fiasco-now-why-could-that-be/
RunUpDoneUp Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Nazism is no longer a "no-no" for rightwingers and it hasn't been for decades now. Modern republicans openly welcome fascism and make no fuss about it. There is no far right; just your loud republican and your quiet one. They're all at the ready for the "go" signal to salute their favorite genocider.
