It's easy to say that "Latto's song was simply used as an example", but some of us aren't stupid enough to skirt by the obviously noted shade.

 

Nicki and Latto haven't been on good terms at all recently, hence why she's comfortable shading Big Energy & overshadowing Latto's first Grammy submission moment.

Mind you, Nicki literally unfollowed Latto the other week and called her a "dud" in a series of tweet and deletes.

She mentioned her song. Big Energy is probably her only chance to get a nomination besides Best New Artist and now I doubt the voters will vote for her in Melodic Rap to avoid controversy

 

And all these rants are useless because voting started today, final submissions are done and the Grammys won't move anyone else to any other category.

In nickis deranged ig live today she also dragged Latto and said she was part of an effort to give newer artists "things they dont deserve over people who have been deserving for many years" chile
