I fear you’re still wrong with that statement but nice try

Your right I'm wrong she debut at #10 on billboard 200. Smash!

The album numbers are still embarrazzing aren't you embarazzed level floppage, BUT, she has low key shown the girls how to flop with dignity and stay booked and busy. Her networking skills are nearing Rita Ora levels of hustle and fake it till you make it.

Omg :rip: :ahh:

Idk but this is the chart run for her career so far:

Familia was her Fantasy Ride, complete with a lil hit to save face (Bam Bam/Love Sex Magic)

We shall see if her Basic Instinct is next

No, Familia is a global bomb. There is no GP interest in her as an artist despite her Rita Ora levels of hustling

"But she's getting so much money on that talent show!!" is the #1 line used by fans of has-beens to justify their career trajectory. I would know.

The difference is that when artists like Christina, Katy, Alicia, Kelly C. etc decided to cash in what was left of their GP popularity to become judges, they already had a back catalogue that could keep them afloat as legacy acts for the foreseeable future outside of that TV gig. Camila has 3 hits and she can't even perform any of them in full by herself. If Interscope can't reverse the course of her music career, this is last hurrah money. In her 20's. Better than no money of course but not exactly a win.

Yes she really is still winning. She’s making 11 million for 1 season on the voice.

shes still in her 20s which is really young. this might be her ‘try this’ type of era. massive bomb but not the end of her career a la P!nk. who knows whats ahead of her tbh. when katy, alicia and xtina became judges they did it for the college funds of their kids probably :rip: all were like mid 30s and there wasnt really good music left inside of them tbh

Camila leaving Epic is the worst decision she could have made.. Interscope can’t focus on more than one girl at a time and all their budget and focus will be on Olivia obviously. She had Epic’s full attention and that’s gone now

yeah compared to her bandmates and some of her peers she really won
