You better leave before I come for you :eli:

In terms of making a pop album, probably not. We all know she was extremely driven to get a Grammy nom & win for this album, hence her putting a lot of effort into it (in a minimal time frame).

I think her new mindset seems to be making music that’s fun for her & what she wants to do. Especially now she’s 30 & her last 2 albums have been less commercially successful, she’ll probably never have the drive to make something for the Grammys again.

holy **** is cute but only forever alone stomps on it :giraffe:

Never. She was at her peak commercially and she had drive. She doesn’t have drive anymore and she’s past her commercial peak

She already did with The Art of Starting Over and lowkey Holy **** (though I'd put the latter as neck and neck with Tell Me You Love Me)

People sleep on TAOSO too damn much, it has aged so well for me personally :jamming:

I think DWTDTAOSO is the better album and topped TMYLM. So in terms of uniqueness, YES I think Demi can top it (and has). But for most people NO I don't know if Demi can top it. It's like Dignity by Hilary Duff in that sense, about relationship turmoil and a very strong cohesive sound with plenty of bops, that's going to be a favorite for many.

Smoke & Mirrors and Ready For Ya tho >

it was definitely when she was her most likable which honestly helped the music be more digestible. and i’m not even talking about her pop star image thing she had going on with the long hair and sexier image. she was just severely less annoying and felt more relatable

yes what a shame she destroyed every shred of momentum & goodwill after this era :rip:

Probably not. Idk she received the holy spirit when she recorded Smoke & Mirrors

TMYLM is a great album but she topped it with The Art of Starting Over and then again with Holy ****. An artist :clap3:
