I've recently returned to ATRL after a number of years away. The forum has undergone numerous changes since I was around.

 

I'd love some formatting tips, namely how to embed tweets, YouTube videos, and other types of supported media. I tried searching existing threads but I'm coming up short.

 

What are your formatting tips and tricks?

 

With youtube you just paste the link. 

Same with Twitter.  And it should automatically come up.

 

 

 

However tables are completely impossible on this site these days; same with centering a video 

 

 

With images, you can double-click them after they are formatted to resize them.

How do y’all do larger/multi-colour text?

Images can only be embedded/inserted from a URL, correct? Which site/sites do you recommend for storing photos to be shared? I imagine I can use URLs from images all over the internet, but there's always a chance they'll be removed from the source.

I see some size and color options in the post editor, but I imagine you're referring to some even crazier/fancier stuff? Do you have any examples, by chance?

I don’t have those on mobile  are those pc only?

As far as I can tell, yes. They seem to be browser-only. You might be able to access them by viewing the "desktop version" of the page on mobile, but that could be a bit wonky to navigate.

 The way the Gif and Spoiler tags disappear on desktop and color and size aren't a mobile, this site is a such a mess.

With the new rebranding of ATRL, may I ask where the search bar is? Because I want to go to certain threads but can't find them 🫠

Was disabled like a month ago cause of site instability I think.

Might just have to go to Google "ATRL insert thread name".

What do I do for a tweet to pop up on my comment? I'm copying and pasting the link, but it doesn't expand to show the actual tweet.
