I think what they mean is she's not just flipping her hair and gyrating while lipping to CDs, so for a popstar it kinda gives off rockstar vibes. It's all in the context.

That's funny I think not giving a **** and doing whatever the **** you please onstage is more of a rockstar vibe than the desperate "please like me" theater kid energy Gaga gives off. Also, hearing those cracked, strained vocals Gaga is giving on Hold My Hand and her awkward, stiff moves onstage, maybe she should focus on gyrating to the CD vocals.

 

If omgewwdavid and his 91 likes says so though, he must be right.

They're talking about her performance style so it's not like that's even relevant. And Gaga is known for her live vocals so comparing her performance style to Madonna's makes no sense anyway.
