Avril Nominated for a VMA

Featured Replies

Avril has been nominated for best alternative music video TWICE;

Avril Lavigne Ft. BlackBear - Love it When You Hate Me

WILLOW & Avril Lavigne Ft. Travis Barker - GROW

Why did Avril’s two worst singles get nominated for a VMA while Bite Me and Flames were paid dust?

Flames didn't deserve it either but Bite Me was ROBBED. Best music video of the 4 and also the most successful.

I can't believe these were nominated over Bite Me! That video is superior to both of these by every metric possible (and it's the better song but that's a whole other subject).

Bite Me deserved, but hopefully the Willow and Blackbear fanbases will help with votes!

I can't believe this is her first nomination in 15 years. AND the first in the Alt category! So proud of her :weeps:

Ohhhh She is taking it :party:

Im voting already hard lol

Avril better attend a perfomance will be great too

Legend Tingz

It means she probably won’t be nominated if the newer stars are not in it. It’s just the way it is for legend act. I hope she’ll get it tho, and also perform there.

well deserved! I hope her and MGK perform boys lie
