I mean… in the late 90's and early 2000's they were very consistent and loved by a lot of people and had some cute hits around Europe but now they seem to be forgotten, people don’t talk about them, artists don’t talk about them and their impact is non existent, their hits doesn’t sound on the radio or are streamed btw

I still hear Breathless at grocery stores like every other month.  But I do wish the group that invented the word "make-you-minable" would get the flowers they honestly deserve.

 

To me they are iconic and definitely late 90s/early 00s foundational. At least in France, they were huge and Breathless was everywhere.

 

Still listen a lot to their Irish album and the unplugged.

The way unplugged is like their most successful album to date… crazy to think… see when you are a live group with talent 

I was just thinking about that the other day. They have less than 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, which I found surprising. 

I don’t know get why their album White Light from 2015 isn’t on Spotify. It’s one of their best albums in recent years

Their song with Alejandro Sanz is so beautiful

i loved them growing up, the mix of irish (?) with pop, so cool

That’s disappointing to read tbh but do you think the sisters think the same? I mean… just to stop to listen to them like the band is only Jim and not Andrea, Caroline and Shanon 

They already failed to reconnect with the music industry since the iTunes heyday, let alone the streaming age.  
 

Anyway, Talks on Corners, Unplugged and Home are still divine. In Blue and Borrowed Heaven have a surprising replay value with very few duds. 
 

Their latest one is nice too, but I can’t remember a song from it lol.

The latest one for me is a mess… so poor mixing… on the other hand their comeback album aka “White Light” was a moment! 

This one is probably their most replayed song in my country.

And Andrea’s voice has aged quite poorly.  They need a producer that can tackle that better.

His views seem to be his own from what i can tell. But supporting them would also mean supporting him, and given that I only know one song, I don't really feel that pull to check out the rest of their discography.

Well it’s a shame because they were great. I would assume because they just haven’t even had a small hit in a long time and Jim has ruined them.

Breathless and Runaway are simply terrific. 

 

Andrea's Shame on You is a splendid political song as well.
