People are overhyping Raja for no reason and pushing these narratives that “she should’ve won this week” all in an attempt to offer her a sense of solice because  

of her said  “seniority” lmao. No maam she’s been meh all season and id even go as far as to say kinda disappearing in the competition. (With exception of gold dress I guess) I can tell many of you drag race kids never have had real jobs and probably would enter a job programmed into thinking the tired lazy old ladies at work must be treated like royalty for no other reason then that they’ve been there 20 years. Meanwhile new talent comes in and offer more innovation, are more productive, and have more drive while also finding better ways of doing the mundane but sure let the entitled old lady gang get more pay for doing the absolute least and bragging about how they’ve been there so long. Idc. Performance based > seniority based structures are superior. Job culture or fandoms enabling this type of behavior are toxic.   If It hurts your feelings wow.  Raja is not that girl anymore (or maybe she was just the top of the tier for her time) and it’s ok just don’t give her a participation trophy for nothing. That’s all. 

Knowing this fandom I expect she’ll get a participation award for doing the least. Just watch.

honestly im not sure why people thought she should've won the improv challenge she played an old lady again. Her snatch game was good in terms of the characterisaiton but she musn't have been that funny. The only one she arguably could've won is the three ball looks. I think they should've had three winners that week. The only thing that let her down was her John Walters look

Why is she a legend!?  For her time sure. Many people excel at something for a particular year but many better things come about thereafter.  Y’all watch too many watch mojo videos and are programmed to think anyone is a legend. Nothing she did back then would really translate as timeless anymore. Her Mary Antoinette look ? Lol hardly. 
 

I actually agree that the 'Raja should have won' crowd is getting very annoying because they say it every damn week. Some weeks she was great, and sometimes she was not (compared to the other queens).

I know don’t worry, if the shoe fits then I’d be worried.

 

But I genuinely think you’re undervaluing the actual genius of Raja’s fashion, her challenge performances and all of this after decades in the game. She is a top tier queen.

I don’t think she is overhyped at all. She could’ve very easily been in in the top for Snatch Game and the Improv challenge. Her hype makes sense because she has been killing it on the runway and she hasnt had a real bad moment yet (whereas queens like Jaida and Yvie have definitely fumbled no matter how much the edit wants to put all the queens in a good light)

I agree that what she did in her time, though top tier as it was then, pales in comparison to the highs of other top tier queens in later seasons because drag has evolved and Drag Race has gotten so much more competitive since then, but the reality is she slayed in Season 3 and is slaying in All Stars 7, and what she's doing now is so much more elevated than what she showed a decade ago. To say otherwise is just...wrong.

 

Though it seems you have a personal stake against her, so I'm guessing we'll have to agree to disagree.
