Mariah came of the smash album TEOM and her next attempt was highly anticipated.

The album started out very strongly but fizzled out very quickly. It highly underperformed due to horrible single choices and forgettable videos (except for TMB) 

 

what single choice would you have made to save the era and make it a smash like her previous album?

it's her worst album and nothing on the album was gonna be TMB 2.0 anyway + migrate is a bad song i don't get the hype at all

I literally despise that song, but that kind of music was enormous in 2008. I don't think it was guaranteed a #1, but it def would have been some kind of hit.

Why do y'all go with TMB for the lead? it didn't do that well on radio... It only reached #7 on Pop and #3 on Rhythmic.

(literally anything else would of flopped but Cruise Control, I Stay In Love or IBLYLT would of been ok for a 4th and final single) 

I didn’t know this album was so disliked. To me every song is a bop except for maybe 3. Anyway
