  1. Mariah has more to offer than forgettable 90s ballads. I love Celine but her discography is boring af.
  2. With no video, promotion and released 25 years into her career
  3. Was rooting for Mayhem but DMTF deserved as well! Those saying it was only for political reasons either haven't heard the album or can't relate to it.
  4. I feel like Gaga lost her mojo with Joanne. Ever since she hasn't been able to get back to the exciting pop girl she was seen as before. Mayhem could've brought her back but she abandoned it once it was released. An era with high budget videos for GOE, Zombieboy and VIY could have made this era huge and secure AOTY. Also those coming for Beys lack of streaming success are insane. Bey hasn't released a music video for a studio album in 10 years. She's only given 1 promo performance (Beyoncé Bowl) within the decade too. She clearly doesn't care about streams. She already got her success and is now putting out music that is more important than streams. She's literally teaching the history of music and pop culture in America. The fact that she was able to nab multiple #1 singles in the process is an accomplishment in itself.
  5. This whole album is amazing I was choosing my top 10 Madonna songs and 6 out of 10 are from this album. Maybe because the album has so many bangers they get lost. Even the singles don't feel as big compared to her other projects though. Me thinks the gp just wants fun pop songs. Not experimental sounding songs with thought provoking lyrics
  6. @Lovett other than golden, what is the competition? That's y I said not much. And just because Golden was big doesn't mean it will win. The Marvel movies were big and never got nominated so I don't see your point
  7. This is so beautiful! She really excels with ballads. Hoping for awards. I don't think there's much competition in Original Song this year
  8. 1990s: Butterfly, Ray Of Light, Daydream 2000s: Blackout, The Fame, The Duchess 2010s: 1989, Teenage Dream, 21 (HM: Born This Way) 2020s: Future Nostalgia, Renaissance, Folklore
  9. Blackout. The dark pop album coming out Halloween week, there was a huge earthquake the day before where I lived and the fact that it was actually released when we thought she was never gonna release music again or even be alive during that year. Not to mention it was banger after banger
  10. BDay: Every single song is a 10/10 and it never gets old Renaissance: Almost every song is a 10/10 and production is out of this world. Cowboy Carter: Too many interludes/short songs, but the concept is amazing and some career highlights, such as Flamenco. 4: Vocally at her best. Very brave to release this during the EDM craze, so appreciate it a lot for that Lemonade: Not higher like everyone else because I never really go back to any of these songs. I appreciate her taking on so many different genres and telling a whole story through them but I wish the songs were stronger. Self Titled: I think people just love the pageantry of the album (surprise drop, visual album, etc.) but this sounds dated now and the second half just drags with so many slow songs. Dangerously In Love: This one also drags because there are so many slower songs. The singles are really the highlight here but what a very strong batch of singles from an album. Sasha Fierce: The singles aren't even that good. Really only 3 songs that I like not even love. Sounds very dated now overall the top 6 are 10/10 albums so it's difficult to rank them. She really does have an amazing discography because even the bottoms 2 are at least solid albums
  11. Whatever. She would have been blamed for any minor thing anyway. The only positive is getting to say "I told you so" to all the stupid independents. Alexa…play Screwed by Janelle Monae
  12. I agree this probably won't move the needle much compared to all the other horrific things coming out of his campaign, but in a race this close, this is helpful to Kamala. Maybe won't change peoples votes but get people who we're gonna sit out to go vote. This also comes at a time where people are really going to start paying attention to the election. This will be all over the news at least until Tuesday and Kamala will continue to talk about this until Election Day
  13. Beyoncé performed with JAY-Z for Hilary the weekend before ED. This week we had Usher and Eminem as the openers for hopefully Beyoncé and Taylor next week
  14. I have more confidence in Walz debating Vance than Harris debating Trump. Walz is very personable and Vance doesn't have a charismatic bone in his body. Walz also does a great job of presenting Dem policies while Vance literally admitted to lying about Hatian immigrants on national tv. Overall, I predict Vance will make many mistakes and Walz will have a lot one one liners that will stick. Walz will win and Kamala will slowly start to breakaway in the polls and Trump will finally agree to debate Kamala again in which I don't believe she should agree
  15. All-time chartbuster: …Baby One More Time Chartbuster: Oops!…I Did It Again Super hit: Circus / In The Zone Hit: Femme Fatale Average: Blackout Below Average: Britney Flop: Glory Disaster: Britney Jean
