Racial slurs aren’t something that factors into their decision to listen to a musician because they don’t care because it doesn’t affect them. 

A white racist man thriving in America, sounds fitting.

His fanbase doesn't care about his racism. Some even supported him more after it

because the attempt to cancel him made him a figurehead for racist conservatives. people wanted to support him harder after it looked like he might be (rightfully) brought down. greatest country in the world, right

he's a male country artist whose stanbase is primarily racist white men

you wouldn't even see the same **** with female country artists because their stanbase is full of gays and more progressive  white male country artists get away with everything

His music is actually good from what I remember, I don't listen to him anymore though.

Because in America if you aren’t white, you mean nothing to the right. 
 

We have a serious issue with actual hate towards the black community. An 18 year old hunted down and killed specifically black people. 
 

I still hear offensive slang for Brazil nuts as a common staple in the grocery store in rural America. 
 

America is awful behind closed doors. Social media has taught people it is okay to give their opinion and to gather with likeminded hateful people across the globe.

 

Social media has massively made the world far worse.
