This song right here has to be the BEST tribute to The Notorious BIG to this day while still being CLASSIC Kim at her best and OMG her wordplay on this joint is crazy.

This album was the 1st & only album by a female Hip Hop artist to receive 5 ?'s from The Source magazine which was a HUGE thing for a Hip Hop artist in the 90s and 2000's as only 15 albums ever got that!

Kimmy literally spell checked her way through this entire song ??? & threw some shots at 50 Cent too ? which is always great!

 

 

 

DIWB is a masterpiece, BUT artistically, Spell Check is superior and it doesn't get the credit or recognition it deserves. No female rapper in history has a track this unique and lyrical while simultaneously using a set scheme that remains fresh through the entire song. It honestly should have been a standalone single rather than being pushed as a double with Whoa. Spell Check does not ever get old. EVER. :jonny5:

I always say that no other female Rapper has a song as unique as Spell Check and to this day its still so fresh.    I have no idea why her team didn't make this a single over Whoa ... that album had a lot of good tracks that could have been singles over Whoa too.
