Ed's own career as a hitmaker in the US is a house of cards being held up by playlists and radio at this point. Equals has been a pretty drastic decline. Of course he will be able to sell out arenas for a long time, he has a great reputation as a live performer, a great catalogue of hits and wide appeal. But as far as his new music goes, it's a big maybe. So no, he is not the best basket to put all your eggs in.

This, I would not be surprised if his next lead single had a feature with a hot artist at that time. Maybe we will see Ed Sheeran feat. The Kid LAROI in 2024.
