Is Among Us completely forgotten?

Featured Replies

No, it has a dedicated fanbase and it still gets great numbers of players every week. It’s just not a GP darling anymore, just like Fortnite, Squid Game etc

really? :deadbanana4:

either way, people easily move on when they hype up/blow up something. so a lot of these fads feel forgotten.

Averaging under 10k is quite bad for a game of this size, but probably a lot more people play on mobile anyway.

It really is,  mostly for me.  The update that forced you to use quick messages ruined the game.  I'd like to type my own words when we chat.

Nobody actually plays it anymore but it’s still relevant bc of the memes (which are also dying)

It's dead the moment they didn't implement voice chat feature in the game. It has potential but, it's too late to save it now :celestial2:

it got boring real quick. i thought at some point they would add new maps to keep player interest but it never happened… its been a while since i played it so idk if they finally did add new maps.

I've never tried it but it's been popular for a little while. People are on Elden Ring now though

Playing Among Us needs to be on a mental illness checklist just based on my personal experience. I think every single person who has harassed me the past 2 years made references to this game. It’s best left wherever they found it.

Now change the title "Is Among Us the new Katy Perry" for a hit thread

A game this size? You mean a cheap indie game? You're talking like it's a huge budgeted AAA game :deadbanana4:

Most people play on mobile like you said tho

I don't mean the quality or the amount of time needed to realize the project. I meaned the initial hype aka an average of 176k players which is insane.

It actually have an impact on the weird/dank meme culture (i dont know the actual name of that base) even though general publuc lost interests. And gen z will be use the game and make its impact bigger on social media i guess

idk anything about gaming, but i googled current players and i got:

https://activeplayer.io/among-us/

which claims:

Last 30 Days: 415,501,146 players
