Love Doja and the song is good but she could’ve done something a bit more groundbreaking for this soundtrack, imagine Doja doing like a combo of her style with Elvis. It would be such a statement given how much he stole from black artists.

I think that’s why she used the Big Mama Thornton sample that’s looped throughout the song instead of the Elvis version?

A deserved scalping for my ignorance, I know little of the detail behind Elvis and those he stole from:jonny4:

Anyway the song is good, she is capable of wayyyy better though, I guess it just shows how good she is that this is average for her standards. But she’s burnt out and said she needs a break so I should go easy on ha.

L O L that visual was such a blatant slap in the face to Elvis who stole from black people :lmao:absolutely nothing about that visual related to the movie, no film snippets, etc. Just beautiful brown bodies dancing which only made me like it more. It's interesting that they chose this song as the lead for the soundtrack :eli: it's a cute video and the song is growing on streaming!

Not sure if the video will give it boost and movie buzz six feet under but the song is good and holding up well.

Not this song came back from the dead thanks to the video. People underestimate how visual this generation is. I would argue that artists shouldn’t even drop a random song if they won’t provide a visual (even just a visualizer with the artist actually in it).

If Vegas keeps performing like this, it’ll get on the hot 100.

From 1:40 onwards in the video (second verse) goes so damn hard! I listened to it in the shower full blast and boy did it hit!
