The turn around in this thread. I remember when I was 1 of like 5 people who thought this song would smash. 

 

Lizzo deserves though. This is how (and when!) you drop a “song of the summer” contender. Everything was aligned and once the GP was exposed to the track, they latched on (you can see that in the strong iTunes sales btw which SUPER rare nowadays even for smash streaming  songs). The radio updates aren’t even that strong which shows there’s no payola.
