Every gif avi I've seen on there looks compressed to **** so I doubt it

The size should be 170x170 only. You can visit my lastfm to see how my avi looks with this size

Oh I knew it. I've been specifically resizing/cropping my gifs to make them 170x170 but even then they don't look like yours.

I have this theory that gifs made with photoshop look better when uploaded to last.fm than my instagiffer'd gifs.

Never heard of instagiffer, so can't help you with that one  but if you want I can make you one, just post me video or gifs that you have (og size)
