Their Japanese debut has already been confirmed, it's just a matter of when. 

Don't forget they have already released a compilation album in Japan and toured there too.

The only boring lores are EXO's and LOONA's. Both Pixy and Billlie have been stomping with their lores, Pixy's a little cliché but the animated visuals and narration kinda make it slay, and Billlie's lore is very good and interesting.

tbh I'd rather have a Netflix or HBO aespa series than one Hollywood movie

they would have much more time and opportunities to showcase the Kwangya world and villains

on the other hand though it would be much more pricey

I know but I feel like SM has neglected the japanese market ever since like 2015  And Dream's debut is LONG overdue, RV debuted in 2018, so did NCT 127, Baekhyun debuted there after like 1.5 years of his korean debut. Idk what has taken them so long. Anywho I hope they do a good job there because Dream has potential to sell good.

Chanyeol is an active duty soldier while Baekhyun is public service the only time either will probably run into him is when they call him to clean the bathrooms

I listen to all four of those groups and I don't really care about their concepts, I just listen to the music / watch the mvs and move on. I'm not interested in lores in K-pop.

Don't know if you'll be into their cuter side, but Just U, Clover, Back To You, Complete Me, Whiplash and Salty are very good. Now if you like a more R&B or noisy style Got It, Get It, Insanity, Back All Black and Hypnotized are among my faves. I I couldn't say they are album artists (Quality wise) but their music is overall pretty enjoyable and fun.
