There's already a ton of boygroups making noise though

Blackpink's catchy noise is hard to do tho, just look at all these girlies trying to be them and failing bc they don't have Teddy

For some reason BTS already feels like a forgotten Has-Been. It feels almost as if all their star power and hype just died over night, like a one hit wonder.

All the members will probably switch places going in and out of the army; therefore, the probability of them coming back as an OT7 won’t be happening for at least 6-7 more years. They will be forgotten by then!

Are we acting like Twice weren’t  known for their digits hits and big album sales during 2015-2019? :rip: Netizens used to compare them to boy groups in album sales. Things have obviously changed a lot since then but shading that seems a bit stupid.

This is true. Their fanbase wont stick around for another 6-7 years. :deadbanana4: By the time they comeback, will anyone even care anymore?

Im just saying theres nothing brag-worthy about their sales considering they have freaking 24 albums!! :deadbanana4: Lets have a nugu flop group like Kepler release 24 albums and Im sure they will eventually sell millions of records by default

The whole album is not bad (it's not great either) , but it has no identity. Literally anyone can sing it.

Isn’t this most of k-pop tbh?:fan:

And H.O.T, S.E.S, DBSK :rip:

They clearly just wanted an excuse to proclaim a YGE group we know nothing about is gunna be the leader of 4th gen. :giraffe:

yeah, and BTS also has a lot of albums

imo it makes no sense to compare album or digital sales from different times, even from one year to another there might be an increase/decline in sales

And they are, so what now?

I actually was gonna add The Boyz

but while they are successful, they're not looked at representatives of gen 4

but they're getting there

honestly everyone needs to stop discussing bts and go stream the bugaboo song instead. nugu excellence

Enlistment announcement next week

Lock them out of the studio & ship them off.

imagine if YG was smart and make bp cb with a full album this year, a mini album april next year and another mini late 2023 because the ugly bots are now disbanded

but nope

Stray Kids are the bg who are closest to BTS' success even though the gap is still big, since their latest album topped Billboard 200, and they are the 3rd Kpop act to ever do so. It's crazy that they were able to top Billboard before Blackpink :skull: Anyways Blackpink will also top it with their comeback this year :clap3:

Stray kids are also the 2nd most streamed bg on Spotify.

The biggest 4th gen Kpop acts in general are: (globally and domestically)

- Stray Kids

- Itzy

- Aespa

These 3 groups also have 2 it-idols each:

Hyunjin

Felix

Yeji

Ryujin

Karina

Winter
